Odour emission source inventory
The first step, before proceeding with the tests, is to identify the emission sources that are likely to be the source of odour emissions (odours released into the environment).
All types of sources should be considered:
- Point sources / emitters.
- Active surface sources, e.g. biofilters.
- Passive surface sources, e.g. piles, storage yards, lagoons, effluent tanks.
- Volume sources, e.g. halls not equipped with forced ventilation.
Based on many years of experience, our specialists will help to select the sources of odour emissions to be taken into account during olfactometry measurements and the analysis of the odour impact of the system on neighbouring areas during a site visit.
