Ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC systems) in industrial facilities are designed to help ensure appropriate process requirements (maintain environmental conditions appropriate for a given process) and ensure the safety and comfort of personnel. In some industries, the greatest challenge is to maintain within a very narrow range of strictly defined parameters and environmental conditions necessary to ensure process stability. Also other conditions are harmful to the environment.
For this reason, air conditioning and industrial ventilation systems are used in paint shops, the aviation industry, the automotive industry and specialized measuring rooms. When designing HVAC installations for industrial facilities, we always take into account the following issues:
- requirements for the technological process, taking into account industry-specific quality assurance strategies and best practices
- investment and operating costs (installation life cycle costs)
- energy efficiency taking into account BAT (Best available techniques)
- innovative solutions and the latest trends in a given industry
- reliability, simplicity of operation and ease of use
- legal requirements, such as construction law regulations, health and safety and fire protection regulations, and specialized environmental protection regulations.
Many types of installations can be found in large industrial plants:
- General ventilation of production facilities which enables air exchange and removes harmful substances and excess heat from the hall
- Waste sorting plants
- Electroplating plants
- Assembly halls
- Production halls
- Industrial local extractors and filter ventilation
- Spray booths
- Cleanroom
